Kongos live | The Ritz Ybor, Tampa & The Beacham | Feb. 3-4, 2014

The ubiquitous and inescapable anthem “Come With Me Now” has solidified KONGOS as one of rock ‘n’ roll’s most exciting and enigmatic new acts. KONGOS, who are the sons to popular ’70s South African/British singer-songwriter John Kongos recently hit huge on South African airwaves, thanks to a slew of radio hits off Lunatic and extensive touring across the country. The brothers are multi-instrumentalists, with Dylan and Jesse handling vocals live and playing bass and drums respectively onstage. Eldest brother Johnny plays accordion and piano, while Danny is on slide and regular guitar.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and AEG Live are proud to present one of the entertainment world’s most celebrated, multi-faceted talents, as part of the Center’s 2014-2015 Live at Knight Series. Connick, recipient of three Grammy Awards, two Emmy Awards and two Tony Award nominations, will perform in a rare live concert celebrating his vast catalog of hits on February 7, 2015 at 8 p.m. in the John S. and James L. On September 23rd, 2014 Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp released one of the most distinguished records of his career, Plain Spoken. Plain Spoken includes ten stunningly elegant and soul-searching Americana gems. Concert goers will receive a digital download of the Plain Spoken record with purchase of tickets to the tour.
A man with a conscience, he uses his visibility and influence to advocate an issue that hit close to home and became one of the founding members of Farm Aid, an organization that began in 1985 to raise awareness about the loss of family farms. The Farm Aid concerts have raised over $45 million to promote a resilient family farm system of agriculture.
