DENISE RICHARDS HEADLINES ‘THE SECRET LIVES OF CHEERLEADERS’ KICKING OFF LIFETIME’S CHEER, RALLY, KILL END-OF-SUMMER MOVIE LINE-UP

As the summer comes to a close and co-eds head back to school, Lifetime delivers five spirited movies revealing the dark side of cheerleading in the Cheer, Rally, Kill line-up of movies, premiering between September 2nd through September 15th.  Denise Richards (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) and Savannah May headline The Secret Lives of Cheerleaders, premiering on Labor Day, Monday September 2.  

Ava (Savannah May, Knight Squad), an incoming transfer student, reluctantly tries out for the cheerleading team at the insistence of her overly-ambitious mother, Candice (Denise Richards, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills). Katrina (Allie DeBerry, A.N.T Farm), the head cheerleader and most popular girl in school, unexpectedly cozies up to Ava who makes the squad and instantly becomes high school royalty. As she transitions into her new life, Ava discovers becoming part of the squad comes at a price.The Secret Lives of Cheerleadersis produced by HYBRID. Additionally, Peter Sullivan serves as the director and Anna White serves as the writer.

Four additional movies will air on back-to-back weekends as the dog days of summer wane.  Identity Theft of a Cheerleader featuring Gail O’ Grady and Maiara Walsh debuts September 7th, The Wrong Cheerleaderstarring Vivica A. Fox and Cristine Prosperi airs September 8th, The Cheerleader Escort with Alexandra Beaton premieres September 14th, and Undercover Cheerleader starring Kayla Wallace closes the slate on September 15th. All movies air at 8pm ET/PT.
