Rose McGowan Returns to Music With “RM486”

Rose McGowan is no stranger to music. She debuted her talents back in the 2002 film Strange Hearts and on the small screen, when she sang a sultry rendition of “Fever” for the fifth season of the WB series Charmed.

In addition to a number of other soundtrack credits, the Director/ Artist / Singer also recorded the dance hit “Superfabulous” with BT, which also appeared on the Charmed soundtrack.

Now with the visceral single and equally visually striking music video for “RM486,” it seems McGowan may be departing from acting to pursue a music career. In an interview with Nowness, McGowan opens up about previously releasing music under different names and how she actually “hated acting.”

“Not only did I not fit in, I didn’t want to fit in,” McGowan said.

With recent fab credits to her name, including a recurring role as young “Cora” on ABC’s Once Upon a Time & her directorial debut of the indie film Dawn, let’s hope the statuesque starlet will continue to contribute to both genres.

“RM486” is available now on iTunes.
