7th Annual Miami Beach Pride | April 12, 2015

On April 12th, balconies and sidewalks along Ocean Drive will be filled with onlookers and supporters as colorful marchers flourished banners, waved flags, squirted water pistols and tossed beads.

This year’s parade Grand Marshal is Extra and iheart radio host Mario Lopez. Lopez is best known for his portrayal of A.C. Slater on the long-running 90’s teen series Saved by the Bell. Performers include Tiffany Fantasia and Roxanne Vargas. Starting at 11:30 am on Sunday, April 12th, Fantasia a South Florida drag legend and resident entertainer at Palace South Beach will perform at the TD Grandstand Stage. Emmy-nominated Vargas is the host of “6 in the Mix,” a local daytime newsmagazine program which airs on WTVJ-TV NBC 6 in South Florida.

Now in its seventh year, Miami Beach Gay Pride has grown from an estimated 20,000 to more than 125,000 attendees.
