Enter to Win the Cherry Cherry Boom Boom EP!
Martin Kierszenbaum’s name is immediately recognizable thanks to the powerful musical world he’s built around his innate ability to spot the next-big-thing, but what may be news to you is that the founder of Cherrytree Records is also an incredible musician in his own right. As a much sought after producer and songwriter, Martin has worked with the likes of Madonna, Natalia Kills, Robyn, Far East Movement and has hit the charts under his Cherry Cherry Boom Boom moniker, remixing songs for Gwen Stefani, Imagine Dragons, Robyn, La Roux, RAC & more. Finally stepping out on his own for the first time, the Cherry Cherry Boom Boom EP is out now via Royal Pop Records, featuring the hit “A LITTLE BIT OF LOVE (CAN LAST FOR LIFE).”
Working his way from the mailroom at PolyGram Records to signing the Russian group t.A.T.u. (and co-writing the majority of their album), to founding Cherrytree Records in 2005 with the help of Jimmy Iovine and turning it into the powerhouse it is today, Martin has proven again and again that his ear and sensibilities are one-of-a-kind in more ways than one. Cherrytree Record’s first release was Feist’s Let It Die, which was followed by releases from the likes of Robyn, Ellie Goulding, Disclosure, LMFAO, Far East Movement, La Roux and of course, Lady Gaga for her debut album The Fame (Martin co-wrote and produced 4 songs including the title track).
The Cherry Cherry Boom Boom EP is named after the producer & singer’s moniker, which was given to him by Lady Gaga during a recording session for her debut, The Fame. The EP is a four-track powerhouse that blends the authenticity of 80’s and 90’s jams with the freshness of today’s most popular hits. With dynamic pop gems like his first official single “Come Back to San Francisco” (which hit the Billboard Club Chart at #30) and the emotion-filled melodic cover “Answering Machine”, the Cherry Cherry Boom Boom EP delivers diversity at its finest and is proof positive that this EP is just the beginning.
