TheDailyCity.com presents the 2nd Annual Pop-Up Shop. This innovative retail concept, which will open Sept. 3 at the SODO shopping plaza, offers products designed by 30 of the most creative local brands. Mark Baratelli, the visionary behind Daily City won an Orlando Weekly Editors Pick for “Best Pop Up Shop in Orlando” this past year.

What is a POP-UP shop?
“Pop up shops simultaneously test and demonstrate the demand for different types of stores while temporarily creating the vibrant urban street life that planners are aiming for,” says local Orlando Urban Planner Eliza Harris. “They can bring attention to underutilized buildings that have been overlooked by the market.” This year’s locale moves from Ivanhoe Village to the one of the vacant spaces at SODO retail complex at 120 W. Grant St. The store will occupy the space directly across from TJ Maxx.
