The pop icon returns to Orlando’s Big Gay Weekend. While it may seem like the pop stars mainstream relevancy has faded since her last U.S. hit, 2003’s “My Love is Like…Wo,” that doesn’t mean the 33-year-old Washington native hasn’t been hard at work. In 2012, she released her seventh studio album K.I.S.S. She is probably best known for the 2001 Grammy-award winning hit, “Lady Marmalade” which teamed her up with Christina Aguilera, Pink and Lil’ Kim.

She began her career at the age of 13 and was immediately dubbed America’s Country Music Sweetheart. In 2000, she would make her full crossover into pop music with the release of Coyote Ugly and her Grammy award winning singles “Can’t Fight The Moonlight” and “I Need You”. Her brand new album Spitfire is currently climbing the charts.
